(IANS) Filmmaker Karan Johar says amongst his rare starstruck moments in life was his chance meeting with American actress Meryl Streep, who just won her third Oscar award for "The Iron Lady".
"I remember being in the same room as Meryl Streep at the Golden Globes in 2009... my only starstruck moment ever," Johar wrote on Twitter.
On Sunday night in Los Angeles, Streep won the best actress award for reprising former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher in "The Iron Lady". Earlier she won golden statuettes for best supporting actress for "Kramer vs. Kramer" and the best actress award for "Sophie's Choice".
"Am thrilled to bits that Meryl Streep won!!!! She for me is the best thing celluloid has ever witnessed," added Johar.
