Finally Vidya Balan is finalised 'Mehrunissa'

Bollywood's dirty girl Vidya Balan likely to play a role as 'Mehrunissa' in Sudhir Mishra's next film.

As Katrina Kaif also was considered for this role but finally sudhir has decided that the role of 'Mehrunissa' can only play Vidya Balan who recently have done great job in 'The Dirty Picture'.

As per source Vidya will play the role of 'Mehrunissa' in two different time zones, at the age of 20 and at the age of 62. The older role has been modeled on Waheeda Rehman.

Sudhir has also told that whenever vidya will be free of next assignment namely Rajkumar Gupta's Ghanchakkar she will be joining for 'Mehrunissa'. Since he and producer Nikhil Advani are very keen to have vidya on board to play Mehrunissa and also they are willing to wait for her.

Vidya played choosy before saying yes for `Kahaani

Bollywood's newly hot actress Vidya Balan who has been on success spree after her movies No One Killed Jessica and The Dirty Picture, took lot of time before zeroing on to Sujoy Ghosh`s ‘Kahaani.’

When Sujoy came to Vidhya Balan with a script she didn't like it. Then he said I will bring to you one idea after another till you like it. She thought Sujoy was just saying it but he actually came with lot of ideas to her and she liked that one a lot, she asked him to develop it and that we will see. But still the script was not complete, I didn`t say yes," that is what she said while promoting ‘Kahaani’ on radio channel.

"Kahaani" film is releasing on March 9 and it is about a pregnant woman who comes to kolkata to search her missing husband.

As Sujoy kept patience and waited for me, thank god he did it because it has been a great experience for me. I have been affiliated with this film in verious capacities besides acting. After the Parineeta this is the film which i feel so associated in terms of the process from scripting to locations, that is what she said.

Vidhya always take time to say yes to any of the script because she only choose that kind of script which she really like and comes from her heart that this is the film that i want to do. Recently her film "The Dirty Picture’ got huge success and also she got award for this film.
